CSAR Over The Christmas Break

The University of Manchester will be closed from Thursday 23rd December to Tuesday 4th January inclusive. However the CSAR Helpdesk will be operating an email only service on the following dates:

• Thursday 23rd December
• Friday 24th December
• Wednesday 29th December
• Thursday 30th December
• Friday 31st December
• Tuesday 4th January

Running Larger Jobs

We would like to remind all CSAR users that the Christmas break is often an ideal opportunity to process larger jobs, e.g. up to 248 processors on Newton; 128 on Newton 1.5 GHz; 500 on Green.

User Survey

Further to the email sent by EPSRC last week we would like to remind you that the annual survey of the CSAR service is currently being undertaken. If you haven't already done so you are still welcome to complete the survey which you can access from http://www.csar.cfs.ac.uk/project_management/user_survey.shtml . (Note that there will also be a prize draw!).
