Using the Filesystems

Introduction

The majority of filesystems at CSAR are provided by the SAN (Storage Area Network), so it has become increasingly important in everyday work. The SAN allows the same file system to be mounted on all machines simultaneously using the CXFS filesystem to provide high performance to all areas.

There are of course other filesystems of interest and the information provided is designed to give description of the filesystems available and how to get the best out of them.
