ParaFEM is a simple and powerful library of message passing routines for parallel finite element analysis.

Set Up Procedure

Please contact the helpdesk in the first instance.

Running the Code

Mesh generation and model preparation is the responsibility of the user. No specific packages have been installed on the systems. AVS visualization software is available on Fermat if you wish to visualize the results.

Support and the installation of appropriate packages for model preparation and visualisation is demand driven. If you wish to perform large finite element simulations and have particular needs, you are strongly encouraged to contact Lee Margetts or Mike Pettipher.
